The Rev. Archimandrite Georges (Yaacob), Abbot of the Patriarchal Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand and the Patriarchal delegate to the faithful of the parishes of Antioch and the Iskenderun District, arrived at Adana Airport. The Patriarchal Vicar, the Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Paulus Orduluoglu, Father John Babas Oglu, and the Başkan Münir balıkçıoğlu welcomed him. They proceeded to the parish of Saint George in Sarilar. In the evening, the Great Compline prayer was held in the church hall, which was destroyed due to the earthquake in February 2023.
The Rt. Rev. Archimandrite Georges (Yaacoub) conveyed the love, prayers, and blessings of His Beatitude Patriarch John X. He met with the Youth Committee of the parish and with the members of the Parish Council.
